Domestic Dumbwaiters is a Melbourne based manufacturer that design & install domestic goods lifts (dumbwaiters). We have been making and installing special purpose and customised dumbwaiters for over ten years.

 

FEATURES:

  • Standard size of dumbwaiter car 500 wide x 500 deep x 600 high

  • Load capacity of 40 kgs.

  • Lifting equipment above the top opening.

  • Requiring only standard outlet (240 volt ac 10 amp) power supply. It operates on its own designated circuit & RCD (residual current device).

  • Control wiring low volt 24v dc Internal thermal over load for equipment protection and simple reset.

 

 

The lifting equipment above the top opening is the standard configuration but the lifting equipment has also been mounted to the side, or at the base of the shaft, in the case where the dumbwaiter arrives under a bench at the top.

The dumbwaiter car has a single access side as standard but may have multi access sides when entry points are different on the lower level and top level.

The dumbwaiter car is made of mild steel powder coated black with a roller shutter to keep loads secured inside the car.

Safety features include electric locks and micro switches that are fitted to the external access doors to prevent the lift moving while door is open and prevent access when dumbwaiter car isn’t at that level.

All control wiring is low voltage for safe and easy installation.

Standard 2 level dumbwaiter kits will soon be available for self-installation.

The light indicates which level the dumbwaiter is on and can be programmed to turn off automatically after a set period of time
